This agreement is made between the Scouts and Leaders within the 8th / 12th & 19th Scout Troop. It recognises that Scouts and Scouters attend the Troop voluntary and as such should all enjoy their Scouting.

As a Scout I agree to :

  • Take a committed and active part in Scout Activities & Events.
  • Remain quiet when a leader is talking.
  • Not to use Unacceptable or Racist Language.
  • Work as part of a Patrol Team.
  • Follow the instructions of Scouters & Pls
  • Wear a full Scout Uniform to Troop Evenings
  • Use the Hall facilities in the correct way.
  • Use and Look After scout equipment properly
  • Endeavour to follow the Scout Law and Promise.
  • To have my Mobile phone switched off at Scouts.

As scout Leaders we agree to :

  • Make the time at scouts a varied, fun and interesting experience for all scouts.
  • Recognise that each scout is an individual, and try to encourage every scout to reach their full potential.
  • To have a Zero Tolerance of Verbal or Physical Abuse.
  • To give you a warning when your behaviour is becoming unacceptable.
  • Give you the opportunity to work through the Scout Training Programme.
